Is Your Company Responsible For An Lightest Double Stroller Budget? 12 Ways To Spend Your Money

Lightest Double Stroller

When you're searching for a light double-stroller, its folded size and weight are crucial factors to consider. Choosing one that's easy to handle and compact when not in use will make it easier to put in the trunk of your car and navigate through airport security and other foreign streets.

The most lightweight strollers have an easy, light fold and self-standing mechanism to reduce the strain on parents' bodies. Many strollers come with different seating options, and some can accommodate infant car seats.

Kolcraft Cloud Plus

The design is geared towards families who are constantly on moving. Lightweight and easy to carry in one hand compact fold. All-terrain wheels with front suspension, as well as a multi-position reclining seat will accommodate children as heavy as 50 pounds. The tray for parents and children, large storage basket, and a three-tiered canopy that has a peekaboo window provide maximum sun protection.

The Cloud received one of the lowest scores in our tests of quality due to its thin feel, hard plastic seats and a design that is old-fashioned. It's also more expensive than other strollers that are lighter, so it's not the best choice when you're looking for a budget option.

While it's not the most light double stroller, it has enough features worth a look. The swiveling front wheels make it easy to maneuver on flat surfaces and it can jump curbs with minimal effort unlike many other light strollers that veer off course when trying to do the similar thing. The low handle of the Cloud is a problem however, as it's at knee height, and not adjustable. It's not comfortable to push it with your legs dangling in the air and it's also not helping that it's not padded.

During our tests and testing, we found the Cloud to be easy to set up and open. Close it can be a bit more difficult. You need to slide the slider and then press the large white button. This can be frustrating particularly if you're trying to keep track of kids at the same time.

The Cloud comes with a small but deep storage basket that could accommodate a medium-sized diaper bag. It's a bit narrow however it's likely that you'll need to put something in to reach back to take it out. The Cloud comes with two tray for parents and a child tray, each with two cup holders. Both are too narrow for larger cups or bottles.

Kolcraft is an established family business that has been operating since 1946. The first products they made were crib pads and diapers however, they now make an array of baby products, including highchairs, strollers, infant car seats and toys. The company is located in Chicago and is an American manufacturer.

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS is a lightweight and minimalist double stroller that is great for travel. It's super light at just 18 lbs (lighter than some single strollers!) It folds flat to make it easy to transport and store. It also comes with independently reclined seats, as well as large SPF50 sunvisors with a peekaboo view. The visors are adjustable to fit children of different heights. Plus, it has one-step linked parking brake that is Disney-sized approved.

The swivel wheels of the Jeep are also awesome for navigating over bumps and uneven surfaces. This stroller does not accept car seats. Your child must be at minimum six months old and possess a strong neck control in order to use the front seat. It does have an attractive, three-panel sun canopy, however and each seat comes with its own snack tray, as well as cup holders for the parents.

Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend is yet another extremely light stroller with a side by side. It's a bit heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus at 23 lbs, but it's amazingly slim and narrow (26.5 inches wide!) It has a lot of luxurious details that make it ideal for travel. It folds up easily and very easy to move around. It also is easily able to fit in overhead compartments as well as the trunks of planes.

The Joovy Kooper X2 tri-folds and is ultralight, similar to the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double or Mountain Buggy Nano Duo. It's quite similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS, but it has some distinct differences. It's also slightly more expensive, but it offers better maneuverability and has a larger sun canopy. It comes with a handy strap for carrying and can be used by children weighing up to 44 pounds for each seat.

Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+

If you're looking for a stroller that is light but packed with features look no further than Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. It's not just light at only 13 pounds but also has a lot of storage options, including cupholders for both parents and children, a child's sippy-cup pouch and a parent's storage pouch and more. This stroller is also compatible with a child's car seat and comes with a brake with a flip-flop feature that is easy to engage. This stroller is designed to expand along with your child. It can be converted from a baby stroller into a toddler stroller simply by attaching car seat adapters (sold separately) and it's suitable for children 6 months and older.

This stroller has only swivel-wheels and no locking capability and therefore may not be the best choice for rocky or steep terrain. It is able to maneuver well on pavements, as well as other smooth surfaces, however it's an excellent choice for the majority of families.

This stroller is among the most lightweight double strollers with full-size features and a sleek, compact design. It folds easily by one hand and then stored in the trunk or garage. It can also be used as a travel stoller, and is compatible without additional adapters with most car seats.

Contrary to the majority of lightweight strollers, the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ has two separate seats that can accommodate up to 50 lbs. per seat (100 lbs total). The seats have a multi-position recline, individual leg rests, and 3-panel canopies with flip-out sunvisors and windows that peek out.

The seats are padded for your infant's comfort. They have a 5-point padded safety harness that can be adjusted to three different heights. Each seat comes with a built-in infant cushion, which is great for newborns. Parents will appreciate the cup holders for parents and children, along with the child's cup holders, the cell phone holder, and a large storage basket. The stroller is also available with the Yoyo+ Board which transforms it into a tandem.

Joovy X2 Kooper

The Kooper X2 double stroller is an excellent choice for parents who want a lightweight double that can carry two kids. The sling-style seats are comfortable and provide a similar amount of headroom, allowing kids to sit together. The Kooper X2 is unique in that it has a fully reclined seat, making it a great option for napping. Its recline feature is simple to use, however it doesn't really go flat. For taller children, there may be a leg hanging when in the reclined position. It also comes with a large canopy that we found to be better in blocking the sun than other strollers in our top double strollers review.

The stroller is light enough to easily maneuver through door frames, which was a major problem for us with some other strollers we tested. It is easy to fold and the handlebars sit close to the ground. Its only flaw is its relatively small storage space, which is cramped when full of kids' toys.

Joovy, a family-owned business, creates innovative, functional and high-quality baby products. Their line includes unique bottles in our best baby bottle review, intriguing strollers such as the Joovy Zoom X2 Double and a unique rain cover that fits a variety of popular strollers. The prices are reasonable and often have fun designs that appeal to kids.

In our tests on double strollers, our team has evaluated several factors to determine how simple the stroller is to use, including the ease of use to fold and set up and adjust the safety harness as well as close and open the brakes, raise and carry the stroller like you would put it in a trunk of a car, and then install and remove the infant car seat (if necessary). We also analyzed the durability and strength of each model, as well as whether it comes with an adult tray that can accommodate both child trays.

The Joovy Kooper X2 earned the highest score for its ease of use in our most recent edition of our top  double stroller s guide, as well as one of the top scores in our Strollers test program overall. Its easy-to-use design includes one-hand recline that is tilt-free with a huge canopy that rotates to the side for shade, and features a mesh for ventilation you can see through when it's tilted. It also has individual child trays with built-in cup holders, zipper pockets for parents, and an extra-large storage basket.
